Dean Harrington

Guitarist and founding club member, Dean Harrington, has been a performing musician in the Twin Cities area as both a bandleader and sideman guitarist for the last decade. He started as a classical musician, completing a Bachelor of Music degree in classical guitar from the University of Minnesota, studying with classical guitarist and composer Jeffrey Van. As a student, Dean had the privilege of performing in master classes for The Assad Brothers, members of The LA Guitar Quartet, and more. He also won first prize in the Schubert Club Scholarship Competition. Look for him performing locally with his bands Mill City Hot Club and Dean Harrington Trio. He has performed locally with the following performers: Patty and the Buttons, Twin Cities Hot Club, Gypsy Mania, Café Accordion Orchestra, The Southside Aces, Connie Evingson, Rhonda Laurie, Tony Sandler, Sidewalk Cafe, Nikki and the Ruemates, Papa John and the Hot Club of East Lake Street, Men with Hollowbodies, and more. Dean also has a busy teaching schedule at The K&S Conservatory of Music in Woodbury, and his home studio in south Minneapolis.
